Playjays Playgroup is held every Friday in term time from 9.30 to 11am in the Lower Hall. Bookings are essential. Playgroup for ages 0 - 5 years and their carers. Contact Lorraine to book your spot.

In our community - The Dish

St John’s operates The Dish, providing food, friendship and inclusive community to disadvantaged people in the Hornsby area.

We don’t ask questions about why people use us, we are simply glad they do.

We ...

• Provide meals to up to 40 people, five nights a week.
• Offer friendship from an accepting community.
• Retrieve fresh food that would otherwise be wasted from local supermarkets and bakeries so that disadvantaged people can benefit from it.

Since 2003, The Dish have been feeding the vulnerable of Hornsby with a hot meal together with friendship and compassion.

As Christians we love others as a reflection of Jesus's great love for us. In addition to food, we provide an accepting and inclusive community, helping each person know they are loved and valued.
